Cloud Solutions

The "cloud" is an abstract concept of computing that enables users to store and share information on a remotely accessible server by means of the internet. A server is the physical (or virutal) computer in a data center which provides a service to another computer program and its user, which is known as the client. This client-server relationship functions by the server program awaiting and fulfilling requests from client programs. These servers are hosted online and can be accessed from any device with an internet connection. so your resources can be accessed from anywhere, at any time. Talk about convenience and accessibility!

Cloud computing has developed into Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providing virtualized computing resources over the internet. Users can now access and manage fundamental computing infrastructure components without the need for physical on-premise hardware. These include virtual machines (VMs), storage, and networking. Some of the largest and most influential players in the cloud computing industry include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud amongst many other smaller competitors.

Unlock your businesses potential to work in the modern world

Cloud computing enables convenient, on-demand network access to shared computing resources, which greatly enhances collaboration and productivity. One example of cloud services is Microsoft's productivity suite, Office 365. By simply signing in to your Microsoft 365 account you gain access to Office applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook through the cloud enabling collaboration and productivity from anywhere with an internet connection. Similarly Google has a host of cloud apps in Workspace such as Docs, Drive, Sheets, Calendar, and many more.

No more need to fill up a email inboxes with attachments. No more juggling multiple versions of the same document. No longer limited to working from your office computer. Simply share a link with peers and start collaborating in real-time.

Making sure all of your assets in the cloud are secure involves protecting data, applications, and infrastructure from unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats. It encompasses a range of measures such as encryption, access controls, network security, and compliance with regulatory standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud resources. All of these are handled by the cloud provider, but users must implement robust security controls and best practices across the entire cloud ecosystem to actualize these features.
